Position Available: Manager for Role Playing Quality Assurance. 5-7 years of experience in role playing quality or role playing testing. Will lead team of role play quality assurance staff and coordinate with operations, live team, and customer support. Demonstrated ability to stay in character and lead others to do same. Familiarity with community management tools as well as in-game chat and other communications products. Experience with banning tools, statistical analysis packages, and user monitoring methodologies. Ability to type 90 WPM and create macros, triggers, and other automation tools. Familiarity with databases and programming desired, but not required. Background in theater or classroom education will be considered.

As almost always, we made the hires from within the Iron Realms community. Both the new APs (already in-game volunteer Gods known as Ourania, Goddess of the Moon and Valnurana, Goddess of Sleep and Dreams) have been involved in Achaea for many years, starting as players, moving up to Celani (a kind of admin doing mainly behind-the-scenes work that volunteers spend
600-1200 hours as while preparing to be a God), and finally passing muster and getting promoted to God.
