Mitų pradžia - religija. Mokslas, jei jis kuriamas ne religijų pagrindu, negali gimdyti mitų. Mitai gimsta iš nežinojimo ir tamsos.
Fantastika įgali kurti naujus mitus, tačiau jie, net ir labai įsibujoję netaps tokiais mitais kaip dabar žvelgiame į Antikos laikų mitines istorijas.
Mitus primins, bet tai nebebus taip mistiška. Dvasia ne be ta.
